Black Aircrew Sweater Excellent copy of the mid/late-war black/dark blue aircrew sweater. Occasionally referred to as Lend-Lease due to most being manufactured in the US under contract to Britain. These have the correct high collar (not a turtle-neck) and are perfect copies of the wartime original used as a pattern. These are not navy blue versions of the early-war RAF-issue white aircrew frock. This pattern was adopted for use by RAF and Fleet Air Arm and is a different design.
